Pretty pretty town to a western Canadian..
the architecture is fantastic, creative and very very different then anything we see back home.
I love the stuff and the way stores, office buildings, and homes look.
Very, very Spanish kind of looking things.
The drive here was uneventful in that it was smooth going
and the puppies were really good about being in the truck and travelling.
Not especially warm here but the sun is shining..
that is a bonus.
Lee bought these things that monitor the pressure in the RV tires.
What a neat tech thing..
it tells you when your pressure has fallen and warns you when you need more air.
As we forgot our compressor,
Lee borrowed one and it went no higher then 99 pounds pressure!
We needed 110!
On our way here we stopped at specific places that dealt with tires and trucks..
each place we went, the tire pressure hose was either cut in half
or the entire thing was broken!
We finally found one that worked
and you have to PAY for AIR here!
Can you even imagine?
It also had NO pressure.. drat.
Get that looked after tomorrow..
Trying to find the RV park we took a wrong road
( OF COURSE)... no room to turn around!
Unfortunately we tried, but ran into some pecan trees and tore our roof right down the entire side and smashed our outdoor light.
Unfortunate to have this happen and we will get this fixed soon and somewhere.
Lee feels awful about this and I feel absolutely horrid for him.
My philosophy is STUFF HAPPENS!
No ones fault and lets just get it fixed and move on.
So we are here for only the night and moving on tomorrow morning.
It will be a great day and travelling is going to be good.
Thanks for coming along, we really like having you with us..
Be kind to each other and yourself
Peace
Sorry to hear about the roof, don't beat up yourself too much & ruin the trip. I for one has done worse things during our last trip(s). Enjoy the warm south!
