Puppies Fixed

OK that is a misnomer as there was technically nothing wrong with them.
BUT as responsible animal owners we had the puppies Spayed and Neutered.

Leaving them was THE hardest thing to do..
 they were the tiniest dogs there.. heck thy were the tiniest animals there.
The look at you with such trust.. and then you leave them with complete strangers and go away.

We went and got some necessaries while they were being attended to and I wanted to be there right at the time they said was the earliest we could get them.

Oh my Little Miss was wired and climbed right up my front and around my neck.. then cried.. omg!!
Rascal was so laid back and so drugged that he just was glad to see us and promptly fell asleep.
Scamp cried on and off all the way home..

She was not a happy little lady until about 8 am this  day!!!
Had to administer pain meds twice to her and once to him.
They never brought up but man they were unhappy little creatures.

Today is a MUCH better day.
I slept with the puppies in the living room as I was afraid they might get scared or need something during the night..
So I am tired but really happy this is over and we get to heal and move on with less worry.

Today they have decided that they will jump and down when ever they want!!!
Damn...
But that indicates they are feeling much better and Scamp did not cry once or need meds..
They also started licking their wounds..
and we were one step ahead of them..
We got a spray that is allegedly awful tasting.. well maybe to a human. The pups do not mind it at all!!!
Sheesh!!

It is hotter then a pistol here again and we have A/C on again...
 tomorrow we have a crew coming by to wash wax and do all the windows on the RV.
We will be spiffy for our trek home.
We are going to other places on the way , should arrive by April 15th.
We will be leaving here on Friday morning..
 but I have to say what a beautiful sky the desert offers up..
 filled with stars and constellations..
 with this deep inky blue colour..
it is as if you could reach up and grab a star all for your very own..
 and may I add.. the desert night smell is intoxicating.

Life is good...
