Family and surprises

Today we travelled to Phoenix to see Michellene(daughter) and husband Marc.. the big treat was getting to see granddaughter Alexandra too.

Alexandra did not know we were coming and so our presence was a surprise.. that plus she got to see the puppies!

We had brunch and visited , then Marc and Lee went to the airport to get Mackenzie,( grandson) who was flying in from Montreal. Now he also did not know we were going to be there. So another surprise!

You know I hear people being whiny because their kids are not around or do not visit.. or that the "kids" are always around!

I think that anytime a parent gets to spend with their children and grandchildren is a gift no matter how long a visit it might be.We are grateful for the couple of hours we got to spend with them.. and may I say what a beautiful looking family they are. And how nice it is to see grown children so excited to be with their parents on a holiday together...

The puppies were very good at being in the crate for so long and really loved walking down the streets with Michellene and Alexandra.. fresh air and cuddles and a great big world.

It was a long day for them and when we arrived back at the RV the little dickens were "wired" and really not at well behaved.. off their schedule and just running around in circles peeing everywhere! Oh what fun.. babies in any species off their routine act like weird creatures...
after a STERN talking to(from Lee),
the two "Horn Puppies" were in their crate for the night..
finally Peace and I got to do some things.. yeah!!!

Thanks to Alexandra we are going to get a Potty Patch tomorrow to assist in training..
be way better then all the paper products I am currently using!!
Thanks Alexandra.. appreciate the tip.

We wish you all a great day and thank you for sharing in our adventures.
Be kind to one another
and anyone you may come across,
and always pay it forward when you can.
Peace

  1. It is very true, have a minute, an hour or a day with your children is special. Glad that you made good use of the few hours, and enjoyed your family time together.

  2. Gaye, we are always thrilled when our kids choose to spend vacation time with us, and a little amazed they continue to want to travel with us. You are right, enjoy when and as much as you can. Then maybe be thankful we did such a good job raising them to leave the nest and be successful.
