It is Thanksgiving Week-end here in Canada and in most homes the smell of turkey cooking and apple pies, pumpkin pies will permeate the air.. families gather round and this is a day where we will or should give thanks for our bounty.

Bounty... that is more then just the food on our tables, it is our health, it is our shared love of humanity, it is our children, our grandchildren and our many close members of our extended family.

This year we will not be physically sharing this time with immediate members of our families and most of our close friends are also not in the immediate vicinity.

BUT we are reminded how blessed we are with our bounty.
Lee and I have an extraordinary life that we share with each other and those who impact on our lives.
The blessings are many and too long to itemize
but we want you all to know that we count each of you in our blessings and part of our bounty.

So to each of you, no matter where you are or who you are,
know you are important to us in your own way
and we count you as our family.
We wish you good health, lots of laughter and the joy of knowing people love you.

I am going to cook our turkey(small breast) and squash(from a cousin's garden) and potatoes(local) salad from Canada's own gardens we will have BC cranberries..the thing we will not have is the pie.
I do not make pastry and have never learned how.. speaking of HOWE!
Where the heck is my fresh pie Laura???
We will enjoy our dinner surrounded by the splendour we call southern British Columbia.

But we will also remember those who have gone on, whom we shared previous years dinners with.
You will part of our Thanks.. gone but never forgotten.
Our thanks is sincere and goes deep.

Happy Happy THANKS giving.
Peace
