Moab Utah

Here we are in Moab, Utah.

Arizona was good to us this past winter
and when we left it waved a very warm 81 degrees F good bye!
We stayed the first night out at a casino  near Montezuma National Monument.
We were prepared for cooler weather
 and darn near expired due to heat!
The drive from there to Moab was once again anticipating cooler temps
only to be met with beautiful warm weather.

Thank goodness.
It is the Oasis Rv Park's opening day
and our neighbours two down from us have 9 Jack Russell Terriers!!
One of which I should love to have..
not going to happen.

The Colorado River is fast moving
and a very very muddy colour..
must be spring run off.
The rocks are red and looking a bit more then welcoming for me.
Colour once again..

Have to tell you we stopped in Blanding, Utah
for a late lunch/early dinner and had the BEST Mexican Taco on Indian Fry bread..
Man oh man was that ever a delicious treat.
I am still paying big time for it too.
Heart burn city!!!

It took awhile to set up here
and for the very first time in the entire adventure,
we have television.
So I am going to watch American Idol
if for no other reason then to see J-Lo.

The internet here is FAST and perfect..
amazing.

So today it is a re-stock for groceries
and maybe go take a look at a few of the Arches in the park..

This is the last bit of adventure we will undertake prior to returning home.
It always strikes me odd that is almost time to go home.
Does  not ever seem so much time has passed.
So for the rest of this month
we will be living life as large as humanly possible.
No time to waste on the mundane or trivial.

Our friends Laura and Gord will arrive in three more days
and then the real fun begins.
